WAG Danielle Lineker says football isn’t important to her
May 10th, 2010 - 2:10 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 10 (ANI): Wife of former England football captain and Match Of The Day host Gary, Danielle Lineker, admits she could do without the beautiful game.
“I get a gut-full of it at home,” The Daily Express quoted her as saying.
“Occasionally I try to take an interest in football because it’s Gary’s work but I could live without it,” she added.
Although married to a Leicester City footballer, Welsh-born Danielle’s family support Cardiff City, who defeated Lineker’s hometown club Leicester City lost 1-0 to Cardiff City in a play-off semi-final yesterday.
She added: “I’m totally behind Cardiff City. My side of the family has always been behind them and the banter has already started with Gary.” (ANI)
