Vincent Jackson Returns Only To Go Back

index1Nov 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson returned last night only to leave the game once again. The San Diego Chargers team had waited long for the player to come back after he missed a good number of games this season. Last night in the game between San Diego Chargers and Indianapolis Colts, Vincent Jackson was there only for the first play of the game but soon left the field after suffering a calf injury.

According to insiders, there is no news regarding when the player will show up in a game once again. This has led to a good amount of speculations. A source told that the San Diego Chargers team had been eagerly awaiting Vincent Jackson’s return for almost 12 weeks. The player had missed out 10 games of this season. The authority had held him out for seven games, while the other three had him in the roster-exemption list. Sunday night he started out but took a leave after the first play. He complained of a calf injury and those present at the stadium said that the San Diego wide receiver was seen stretching his calf out on the sideline.

There was many apprehensions about his performance on Sunday night. An insider of the San Diego Chargers said that Vincent Jackson had been practicing with the team and appeared good during those sessions. However, that did not stop the spectators from speculating as to how he would perform, since he had missed out the games for a long time. However, the results were good enough for his team, who won the match against Indianapolis Colts by 36-14.
