Vince Young’s Future In Tennessee Titans Seems Blurred

vince-youngNov 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Vince Young’s thumb injury does not seem to be the only problem that could abstain him from the rest of the NFL season. His thumb injury was with his apparent misbehavior made the Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher take the decision of suspending him prematurely.

Vince Young apparently got too frustrated, while he was on bench, witnessing the humiliating 19-16 overtime loss of his team to the Washington Redskins on Sunday. His inability to contribute to his team in its hard time due ti his thumb injury, made him so frustrated that he threw his pads and jersey into the crowd and left the field. Later on he also added that he would have liked to come back of the rest of the game, but was not allowed to enter the field after the incident. Jeff Fisher, his coach said that he would not play the rest of the season because he will be going through a thumb surgery. However, he also added that even if his injury was not that serious, he would not have been allowed to play because of his misbehavior. The quarter back’s position will now be taken by Rusty Smith, who would play his first NFL game. The coach got very annoyed with sudden wild impulses of Vince Yong, He said that right now, his focus will be more on the team that on Vince Young.

Jeff Fisher is concentrating on preparing Rusty Smith for his first match and Chris Simms, who would be joining them Tuesday. Regarding the future of Vince Young in the team, the coach has said that considering his consistent failure to fulfill the team’s expectations, and now, his off field behavior, his future in the Tennessee Titan team seems to be in doubt.
