Chattanooga, Tennessee, Dec. 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Weekend has brought some exciting football matches for the fans and the Friday night match between Villanova and Montana had been quite thrilling for both the teams. However, the final result of the match cheered up the Villanova supporters as their team defeated Montana, in an extremely close game.

The final result of the match, 23-21, gave Villanova the victory for which they waited for a prolonged period of time. By winning the match against the Montana team, Villanova claimed the title of the Subdivision Football Championship, for the first time in its history. It was a great win for the team and their coach, Andy Tally was overwhelmed to receive the trophy.

According to the reports, the title match meant a lot for the coach who has been diagnosed with cardiac problems and was suggested to take rest. However, the coach denied rest to train his team and now it appears that the efforts of the coach were fruitful and the team emerged victorious in the match against strong opponent Montana. The coach has praised the performance of his team after the match and it appeared he was pleased with the way in which the players have executed wise strategy to restrict Montana from winning.

Though Villanova as a team played well, Matt Szczur performance gave the team their much awaited win. He had scored two touchdowns and ran for one hundred and fifty nine yards, to add to the score of his team. He also recorded receiving of sixty-eight yards in the match, that secured the position of the team further and made them the ultimate winner.
