Vijay Kumar wins gold in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol
October 8th, 2010 - 6:15 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Oct 8 (ANI): Ace shooter Vijay Kumar won a 17th gold for India on the fifth day of the XIXth Commonwealth Games here today in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol shooting.
Kumar shot 787.5, while India’s Gurpreet Singh claimed bronze in the same event shooting 758.7.
Earlier on Thursday, both Vijay Kumar and Gurpreet Singh bagged gold in 25 Metre Rapid Fire Pistol (Men) Doubles.
The Indian duo scored 1162 points to set a new Commonwealth Games record. (ANI)
