Vettori fit for Wellington Test against Pakistan
January 10th, 2011 - 5:04 pm ICT by ANIHamilton, Jan 10(ANI): New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori has said that he is not suffering from any serious illness despite feeling lethargic for several days, and will be fit to lead the team in the second Test against Pakistan.
Visibly unwell during the second day of the first Test in Hamilton, which Pakistan won by 10 wickets, all sorts of rumours had circulated about what might be ailing the skipper.
“I feel a lot better today. All my results have come back clear, so I need a couple of days rest, but I’ll be right for the Basin [Reserve],” Stuff.co.nz quoted Vettori, as saying.
The second Test will begin in Wellington on Saturday. (ANI)
