Verma slams double ton in Shafi Darashah trophy
August 12th, 2012 - 9:53 pm ICT by IANSBangalore, Aug 12 (IANS) A double century by Amit Verma (213, 413b, 28×4, 1×6) powered KSCA XI to 556 for nine against Mumbai Cricket Association in their first innings at stumps on the second day of the Shafi Darashah trophy All-India invitational cricket tournament at Alur Sunday.
KSCA, who were 229 for three overnight, batted through the day with Verma, beginning the day on 65, holding the innings while the Mumbai bowlers toiled for little rewards.
