New York, Aug 27 (ANI): Venus Williams has stoutly defended her fashion choices on the court.
Talking about her showstopper, racy black-lace corset dress that she wore at the French Open in May, the star told the New York Post, “[That dress is] very historical at this point.”
“I would do it the absolute same way. I was trying to do something fun that was still functional.
“There’s times where I’ve designed things and the back is just too low or the fabric was too hot or I’ve altered [a piece] to give it more support.
Nevertheless, “I don’t think I’ve worn anything that was so bad, it’s been like ‘ugh,’ ” she added. (ANI)
