Vadim Perelman to helm Poltergeist remake

The original 1982 classic was a haunted-house movie full of literalised children’’s nightmares directed by Tobe Hooper from a script co-written by Steven Spielberg, reports Hollywood Reporter
The Ukraine-born director of House of Sand and Fog fame will be joined by writers Juliet Snowden and Stiles White.
He was once attached to Spielberg’’s endlessly developing “Talisman” project, adapted from the Stephen King-Peter Straub novel, as well as the World War II drama “Truce” at Warner Independent. (ANI)
