Nov. 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The game between Oregon and USC, held on 31st Oct at 9.00 PM, ended with Oregon winning. Oregon won over USc with a score of 47-20. The Oregon Ducks created history by scoring more than anyone else ever has against the USC team. Oregon will be playing its next at Stanford, which gives them enough time (2 weeks) to practice.
The game saw Masoli rush for a touchdown for the 12th time in the last 14 games, in a career of only 19 games. He also finished his 3rd 100-yard run. This rush completed his 1000 yards. Then came Jamere Holland [with his 13-yard touchdown], which was also the first in his career since he transferred from USC in 2007 to play for the Ducks and then finished with a total of 113 yards. They both gave UO its two 100 yard run in one game since the game held last year between Holiday Bowl and Oklahoma State.
With this game, Oregon Ducks have become the first team who have defeated USC by more than 11 points. T.J. Ward got to intercept his season’s first pass with this game. However, even in this game, the first scorer remained the team opposite Oregon, which has happened in the earlier two games. In the PAC-10, UO now stands at 8-8. The season’s high was also set when the UO made a total of 391 rushing yards and 613 total offenses. The teams have played 56 times before but UO’s 47 point effort became the highest against USC in this match. In 51 years, this will be the second time that UO will get to start conference play with 5-0, the first time being in the year 2000.

Same story as every year the past 3-4, USC is the highly overrated media darling that can’t even win out in the weakest of weak Div I conferences, the PAC-10.
