South Bend, Ind., October 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Exciting match of Saturday between Notre Dame and USC came to an end after USC clinched a victory against Notre Dame. Both the teams had played tactfully to stop their opponents to get victory in this match but the final results of the match, 34-27 turned in favor of the USC team. Notre Dame had lost the match in last moment which was quite disappointing for the Notre Dame team.

Notre Dame’s performance in the match was not up to the mark and the results could have turned to their favor if they had played in more tactful manner. Notre Dame fans had expected their team to play well as they had lost seven matches to USC. Though the Notre Dame players tried to save their eighth defeat against USC but did not become successful.

Jimmy Clausen, the quarterback of Notre Dame team made mistakes in the match, which benefited USC. The three incomplete passes of Clausen eased the win of USC. He was disappointed with his performance in the match as it led to team’s defeat. Head coach of Notre Dame, Charlie Weis though was disappointed with their last moment loss had praised the USC for their skills. He said, “This team’s a bunch of fighters. I’m proud of the fight. I’m disappointed with the loss, it’s never OK to lose. But they’re a bunch of fighters.” Notre Dame for the last three seasons could not triumph against the USC team. The team would have to make improvisations on their gaming skills and strategies if they want to win a match against USC.
