Los Angeles, Nov. 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) As always, the football match between the two Los Angeles University teams, USC and UCLA was intense till the last moment on Saturday. Both the teams were prepared to attack their opponent throughout and after a spine chilling game, USC recorded their third consecutive win against their arch rival UCLA. Though there were several noticeable performances from different USC players, it were the two defensive players of the University of South California team, Malcolm Smith and Chris Galippo who deserve special mention as it would have been difficult to check the score of the UCLA team without their defense skills.

The University of Southern California team has been facing several criticisms these days for losing the match against Stanford and it is expected that the win against UCLA will make their fans happy. After winning the match with a score of 28-7, Chris Galippo, the linebacker of the USC team said, “We talked about it all week, the last two weeks really, just how we wanted to bounce back ad play really hard.” It was evident from his statement that they were under lots of pressure for these two weeks and really wanted to make a comeback with this match. Galippo also said that the team now wants to retain this form in the coming weeks.

Though the offense of the team was commendable, it was the defense of the team that got maximum praises. This victory not only saved them from further criticism of fans but also helped them retain their lost glory against their rival team of UCLA.
