US Soccer Team’s future looks bright and betterJune 4th, 2009 - 7:43 pm ICT by GD
Some hail the US soccer team as the sleeping giant, which in future could well come in league with top footballing nations like Spain, Brazil and Argentina. At present, USA is regarded as an underdog but it surely has the all important component “young talent”. The young talent is flourishing alright but it needs some time to reach its full potential.
Bob Bradley, the current coach of the US soccer team has been able to mold the squad into a much better team. As a coach he has been successful in getting the most and the best out of his team, more than any other coach in the past. Bradley has been very good in combining experience at the defense with the enthusiasm of the youth at the attack line.
Talking about young talent and experience, the US soccer team is surely blessed with the best of both. In Jozy Altidore, who recently scored a hat trick against Trinidad and Tobago, they have a powerful and agile forward who on his day can rip the best of defenses apart. In the midfield, they have Michael Bradley, Maurice Edu and Freddy Adu, all of whom are brimming with talent. With more games on the road and more experience they are only expected to improve.
The young of today are the future of tomorrow, and the more talented the young are, the better are the future prospects. The present US soccer team is a young side and with their talent and enthusiasm it would certainly not be too overwhelming to say that the US soccer team can make it big in the global footballing scenario in the near future.
