under1Missouri, Feb 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Undertaker got burnt during the World Wrestling Entertainment’s Elimination Chamber matches, that took place this Sunday, at St. Louis in Missouri. Thankfully, the professional wrestling champion, whose real name is Mark William Callaway, did not receive any major injuries. The doctors reported that the wrestler had received second and third degree burns. However, they did claim that the wrestler might have suffered from serious burns had the fire not been controlled in the initial stages. Currently, investigations are on as to how the accident took place in the wrestling ring, where techniques involving fire is being use for decades.

However, the irony in the whole situation was that the accident took place due to a technique that the Undertaker is famous for, in fact, synonymous with. The mishap occurred due to pyrotechnics, something that has been incorporated by the Undertaker in his matches since a very long time. This time, however, something seemed to go wrong in the process. As the Undertaker walked toward the wrestling ring, the fireballs exploded around him, and flames shot into the middle of the platform he was walking in.

The accident occurred when a flame shot up directly where he was standing, singing his legs, and following him even as he attempted to move away. Soon, the sleeve of his jacket also caught fire, causing the wrestler to receive some minor burns in his chest and hands. Thankfully, the fire was soon put out, and the Undertaker was treated by the ringside physician. Thankfully, the injuries were minor, and the wrestler had been able to take part in matches directly afterward, and also the next day.
