UK’s Lamps not bowled over by Croatian Bilic’s reverse psychology

London, Sep.6 (ANI): England mid-fielder Frank Lampard has said that he is not bowled over by Croatian coach Slaven Bilic’s reverse psychology ahead of the two team’s face-off at the Wembley stadium on Wednesday.
Lampard says that Bilic cannot fool him as both have been team mates in the past and know each other’s moves.
Bilic told Sun Sport that skipper John Terry should look at the likes of Didier Drogba at his own club, Chelsea, before labelling Arsenal’s Croat striker Eduardo a diver.
He also claimed that Fabio Capello’s men had lost both their ‘Englishness’ and the art of being difficult to play against - though he refused to specify how, declaring: “It’s our secret.”
Lampard said his former mentor is just trying to wind up England.
Lampard said: “It might be reverse psychology by Slaven. He’s very intelligent, almost in the way Mourinho was at Chelsea. He is always thinking one step ahead and of any little edge he can get on the other team. Maybe what he’s saying is not what Slaven thinks. There may be some mind games involved and, if that’s the case, it is very good management. The important thing as an England team is not to get sucked in by that.”
“It all adds to the spice of a big game and it’s good as it builds up the tension. Slaven is a top man, a very nice fella, and has shown with Croatia he will be a top manager. It’s just a few words to fire up his team,” he added. (ANI)
