UK boxer Amir Khan to buy 63,000-pound car after lifting of driving banDecember 27th, 2007 - 2:16 pm ICT by admin
London, Dec.27 (ANI): British Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has decided to buy a 63,000-pound car after his driving ban ends.
Twenty-one-year-old Khan has ordered a 58,000-pound, 140mph Range Rover Sport V8, and is spending 5,000 pounds extra to have it completely white - inside and out, reports The Sun.
The unbeaten fighter ordered it as a Christmas gift for himself, but will now take delivery in 2008 once his six-month ban expires.
He was convicted of careless driving in October after his BMW convertible hit a pedestrian after doing 47mph in a 30mph zone in Bolton.
He faces court again next month accused of doing 140mph on the M62. (ANI)
