ufc1Nov. 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The second event of the Ultimate Fighting Challenge was held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center at Las Vegas in Nevada on the Nov. 21, 2009. The event was touted as probably the best and the most interesting in the entire series due to a number of reasons. This event saw a number of UFC legends pitted against each other in the main events. Naturally, UFC and MMC fans had a lot to expect from the event. The event was streamed live in various websites and certain television channels.

This event saw a reunion of sorts of the two champions in the lightweight category, if meeting in the ring to punch each other in the face can be called that. Forrest Griffin was pitted against the “Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the match indeed turned dramatic. The two maestros were meeting after three years inside the ring, and the audience got their fill of action. The other main action that took place was the fight between the two welterweights: Josh Koshcheck and Anthony Johnson. Their fight was also much anticipated and undoubtedly, many of the viewers tuned in to cheer them on.

Viewers could watch the matches live in a number of websites that streamed it live, and totally free of cost too. However, the bet place to watch it, other than from the ringside, was on PPV. Those who had subscribed to the other television channels that covered the event could also enjoy it. The first two events of the preliminaries were streamed live on Spike TV too, so there was something for everyone.
