UFC 114 Fighters Receive Bonus

monyLas Vegas, May 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Saturday night UFC 114 fight turned out not only to be a grand treat for the viewers but also a grand treat for the fighters who went on to deliver some brilliant shots on the cage and got bonuses added to their usual pay. Mike Russow, Jason Brilz, Ryan Jensen and Rogerio Nogueira were awarded a whooping $65,000 as performance bonuses for their fight performances.

Mike Russow who went on to deliver a knock out punch at the third round of his UFC 114 fight against Todd Duffee, won the “Knockout of the Night” title. He received the price money of $65,000 for the shot which was termed by many fight analysts as an excellent shot. No doubt he deserves the bonus as his shot has shocked the MGM Grand Garden Arena. “The Fight of the Night” award went to Jason Brilz and Rogerio Nogueira fight which saw the two battling out in all there rounds of the game. Their bout turned out to be one of the most interesting one. Ryan Jensen won the “Submission of the Night” award for his early first round guillotine of his opponent Jesse Forbes.

The bonus seems worth for the UFC fighter who went on to make the Las Vegas UFC 114 event a really exciting event. The event that was titled “UFC 114: Rampage Vs Evans” drew 15,081 fans to the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Fans are now looking forward for the “UFC 115: Liddell vs. Franklin” game that is scheduled to be held at the General Motors place in Vancouver, Canada on June 12, 2010.
