Dec 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ultimate Fighting Challenge, popularly known as UFC is getting more and more intriguing, with every match turning out to be an adrenaline gushing one. Saturday night was no exception as the audience witnessed some of the most brutal bouts that had nail biting finishes at UFC 107.
The bout between B.J.Penn and Diego Sanchez had been creating quite a buzz in the UFC arena. It was believed that Sanchez would put Penn’s reign as the lightweight champion at stake. Diego Sanchez did try his best to gain a foothold in the match, but failed miserably. B.J.Penn proved yet again why he is the reigning UFC Lightweight Champion. He literally played with Diego Sanchez and dragged the match to the fifth round. B.J. Penn won the bout with a TKO (Total Knock Out) and retained the UFC Lightweight Championship title.
In another bout between Frank Mir and Chieck Kongo, the former stunned Chieck Kongo by defeating him in the first round itself. The match barely went on for one minute or so as Frank Mir delivered “rear naked choke” to his French opponent, who failed to break the vicious choke. Frank Mir won the match by submission.
In a welterweight bout between Jon Fitch and Mike Pierce, the former won via a unanimous decision. The match was a high-flying one with both the fighters taking on one another in every single round. Jon Fitch clinched a victory in the end.
Kenny Florian versus Clay Guida witnessed the former winning the bout via submission. The fight rolled on for a couple of rounds with Kenny Florian sealing a victory. The heavyweight bout between Paul Buentello and Stefan Struve witnessed both the fighters battling it hard to gain an upper hand over the other. Both struggled to keep each other down. In the end, Stefan Struve won the bout with a majority decision. With so many epic bouts and adrenaline gushing fights, UFC 107 stands out to be a grand success and promises more in the future.

maybe you should get an actual fan of MMA to write your articles, UFC stands for Ultimate Fighting Championship, not “Ultimate Fighting Challenge” and TKO does not mean “Total Knockout”, it is Temporary Knockout,

TKO = total knock out, it’s technical knock out.
Good journalism.

Lol, just read the other guy is ranting about being a MMA fan thinks it’s ‘temporary knockout’. Is that opposed to permanent knockout, aka death or coma.

Lol Vince, you’re a real fan……
It’s technical KO, not ‘temporary’.
Is that opposed to permanent knock out, aka death or coma.
