UConn’s Win In Last Night’s Football Match Leads Them To BCS Bowl

clipboard02Dec 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Its celebration time in the Connecticut Huskies football camp as the team has made it to the BCS Bowl. They have secured their position after they defeated the South Florida Bulls on Saturday night’s match going to claim themselves as contenders of the Big East Conference title. The Connecticut Huskies beat the south Florida Bulls by a score of 19-16. As to who will be playing against them in the BCS Bowl will be decided today.

Sources have divulged that the football experts have labeled this victory as the outcome of the efforts of Dave Teggart and Punter Cole Wagner. They said that without these two players in the Connecticut Huskies team, they would not have able to defeat the south Florida Bulls by a 19-16. The coach and the team mates of these two have also nodded in agreement to this. The South Florida Bulls opened the score with a 42 yard goal by Maikon Bonani and then Dave Teggart came up to give its answer with his 40 yard goal. After the first quarter the score stood for 3-3. Points in the second quarter came with Connecticut Huskies’ Lawrence Wilson who gave a 55 yard goal, giving his team a lead of 10-3. In the middle of the third quarter Dave Teggart further lead his team with his 22 yard goal.

Punter Cole Wagner averaged 53.2 yards on six punts and then downed one at the USF 1 yard line. However, with only 17 seconds remaining for the game to get over came the last winning 53 yard goal from Dave Teggart. The Connecticut Huskies are sharing the the Big East Conference title along with West Virginia Mountaineers and Pittsburgh Panthers.
