UConn Stabbing: Jasper Howard killer still to be nabbed

Storrs, Oct 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jasper Howard, the UConn starting cornerback was stabbed to death at a Huskies homecoming dance party on Sunday night. The police still have to nab the killer and even ascertain the motive behind the fatal stabbing of the 20-year-old father-to-be Jasper Howard.
“I have two children of my own, but I got 105 other sons,” UConn Head coach Randy Edsall said. “And one of my sons have been taken away.”
There was a dance party on, on Sunday night when someone pulled a fire alarm in the “U” forcing the crowds of more than 300 people UConn students and others outside.
Then a fight started between two rival groups over some still-unknown issue and 2 people were then stabbed, which included Jasper Howard. Howard was pronounced dead hours after the incident at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford where his coach, Randy Edsall, stood watch all night.
The other person who was stabbed is now recovering fine and was also released from the hospital. His identity is still not known.
West Virginia football coach Bill Stewart, said, “I’m very good friends with Randy. I can’t imagine what that football family and the Howard family are going through. We have some measures we’ve discussed, and we want to make sure we clear everything through the proper Big East channels. There have been serious and heartfelt conversations by the Mountaineers already this morning regarding this tragedy.”

what a sad story but even worse grammar. who wrote this, a third grader? have some respect and at least write the story with better care.
