UAE to lead world bodybuilding federation
November 6th, 2009 - 10:51 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Dubai, Nov 6 (IANS) Osama Ahmed Al Shafaar of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was named the chairman of the World Bodybuilding Federation, WAM news agency reported.
Al Shafaar has been the chairman of the UAE Bodybuilding Association and the Asian Bodybuilding Federation (ABBF), the report said Thursday.
The decision was taken at the general assembly of the World Bodybuilding Federation held on the sidelines of the World Bodybuilding Championship currently under way in Dubai.
