Two-member Indian wrestling team for Golden Grand Prix
July 16th, 2010 - 9:23 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 16 (IANS) A two-member senior Indian wrestling team is in Baku, Azerbaijan to participate in the final stage of the Golden Grand Prix tournament from July 16-18.
The two Indian wrestler competing in the tournament, held in the memory of former president of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, are Rajender Prasad (55 Kg/Greco Roman style) and Ashok Kumar (96 Kg, Greco Roman Style), according to a release from Wrestling Federation of India (WFI)
Also, the Indian juniors will compete in the 2010 World Wrestling Championship in Free Style, Greco Roman and Female Wrestling at Budapest, Hungary from July 20-25.
