Troy Merritt Takes One-Stroke Lead In PGA Q School Tour

golfDec.04, (THAINDIAN NEWS) PGA Q School is one of the most important tours for the golfers and the golfers participating in this tour try to give their best performance for qualifying in the prestigious tour. The golfers who are qualified in this tour can play most of the US based golf tournaments throughout the year without qualifying for them individually. This year Troy Merritt, the former golfer of Boise State is performing well in the PGA Q school tour, which is being played in Florida’s West Palm Beach.

Troy Merritt has come to the spotlight for his game and now is praised for his performance in the tour. Fans of this golfer expect that he would be able to perform consistently in the tour and receive the Tour Cards for the upcoming year. The game reports indicate that after the completion of round two, Troy Merritt has taken a lead of one-stroke in the qualifying tournament. Official sources stated Troy Merritt is in 8- under par position after taking the lead in round two.

Golfer Graham DeLaet, who is also a former Broncos player, is exhibiting some nice shots in this tournament. Though all the golfers are trying their best to qualify in the PGA Q School tour, only twenty five golfers would get 2010 season’s Tour cards. It has been stated that the other golfers who would advance in this tour would have a better position on Nationwide Tour of golf. Golfers who have participated in this tournament would have to maintain their lead and improvise their performance in this weekend as the game will continue till Monday.
