Trey DePriest Chooses University Of Alabama

July 31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Friday, linebacker Trey DePriest announced the name of the team he is going to join next season at a Springfield, Ohio restaurant. Amidst a crowd that consisted of anxious fans, family members and friends, Trey DePriest declared that he is all set to join the University of Alabama football team for the 2011 season. The soon-to-be high school senior seemed excited and at the same time relieved with his decision to join the defending national champions. He is reportedly looking forward to return to Alabama to join the team for the October 2nd game against Florida Gators.
Rumors were going round over the internet for some time now surroundings the decision of Trey DePriest. Although the coveted linebacker had maintained silence over the issue until Friday evening, many sources speculated that the player was planning to move to Tuscaloosa to join the University of Alabama. On Friday, to the surprise of many, instead of getting disheartened by the decision of the player who did not join Ohio State Buckeyes, fans of Trey DePriest seemed elated and cheered the player loud. Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller, who is also a childhood friend of Trey DePriest, took the microphone after the announcement and mentioned that he is happy with the decision that Trey DePriest had taken.
Orbie Estep, a childhood friend of Trey DePriest praised him as a player with “great work ethics”. He also maintained that if anybody deserved to play for the University of Alabama, then it is none other than Trey DePriest. As for the player himself, Trey DePriest maintained that he chose Tuscaloosa over Columbus as it is the place where he is most comfortable.
