Travis Pastrana Looses His Own “Grip”

travisTravis Pastrana, who is said to be the most electrifying performer in freestyle motocross disappointed the crowd as the biker failed to create an impact thus putting a brake on the audience’s hopes.

The motocross performer, Travis Pastrana essentially fizzed out in flight whilst attempting one of the most difficult of tricks. Pastrana attempted a virtually impossible back flip and 360 degree rotation at Friday Night’s Moto X best trick. The incredible performer who had mesmerized the crowd earlier with his brilliant skills and stunts eventually faded out this time while attempting the task which seemed seemingly impossible to many.

It seemed that Pastrana, as if he were piloting a helicopter-gone-haywire, as he crash landed into the dirt on his back side and hip. Pastrana, who is considered one amazing performer and has as many as nine gold medals to his credit, rose to his feet in the midst of a cheer of appreciation from the crowd. Eventually, Pastrana paved the way for Kyle Loza as the former was too sore to kick start his second run, thus allowing Loza to steal the spot light.

“I thought I had it, but half way through I knew that I wasn’t even close,” said a seemingly disappointed Pastrana. The 23 year old Loza, who had won in the year 2007 and 2008, ran last and decided that he would be the one to electrify the crowd. The trademark move of Loza, which the X games performer terms as the “Electric Doom” entailed performing a backward somersault and body extension while he back flipped his bike, just keeping one hand on the grip. “I didn’t know Travis was riding until a week ago. I just go out there and do my own thing,” said Loza after the event.
