London, Mar 20(ANI): Chelsea striker Fernando Torres insists that he is ready to break his goal drought, and is focused on opening his account against Manchester City today.
Torres, a record 50 million pounds signing from Liverpool back in January, has now gone six games without finding the back of the net for Chelsea.
“Break my duck? On Sunday, of course, I just feel it. It’s the perfect time. The game means so much to both clubs. I am ready,” Sky Sports quoted Torres, as saying.
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti continues to defend the 26-year-old’s dry spell, insisting he is simply taking time to settle in at Stamford Bridge. (ANI)
