Top Premiere footie stars caught trying to score at nightclubs, bars
September 21st, 2010 - 2:10 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sept 21 (ANI): A fake WAG caught four other top footballers in six hours at nightclubs trying to score with women.
Investigative reporter Lauren Veveers hit several nightspots and found that players were still unable to resist women at bars and clubs.
Veevers began chatting with hooker Jenny Thompson’s alleged team member El-Hadji Diouf. The Blackburn Rovers’ striker sidled up to Veevers, invited himself to stay at her flat, and passed her his mobile number.
“You would have thought after being linked to Jenny he would have stayed well clear,” The Daily Star quoted Veevers as saying.
When she said no to his proposition, he hardly batted an eyelid, she said.
“He just flashed a smile and said he’d really love to see me. I knew he was married and just the night before had been pictured out with his wife. Yet here was on the circuit trying to score,” Veevers said.
Later she joined the WAGs’ hunt at the Living Room in Hilton Hotel in Manchester on Saturday night. Within minutes Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard, 31, had headed her way.
“All he could really manage was: ‘I’m pretty pissed to be honest.’ One of his Hull pals tried a bit harder but backed off when I got my camera out. He said: ‘I can’t have my picture taken with you. I’ve got a girlfriend,’” she said.
After that she headed to Bijou, a new venue, where Hull City goalkeeper Matt Duke and Diouf accosted her.
“One thing that didn’t come out from any of the players was a wallet! Despite all their collective millions I didn’t see one buying any of the girls a drink all night,” Veevers revealed.
“You would have thought after all the Rooney business the bars would have been deserted. But it was almost as if it’s attracted even more wannabes. WAG city is a very strange place where there are no rules,” said Nadia Messaoud, who met Rooney’s wife Coleen while dating Liverpool striker David N’Gog. (ANI)
