New Jersey, Dec.30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Thomas James Tom Laughlin, who has gained a huge popularity among the WWE fans with the stage name Tommy Dreamer, has decided to retire from the World Wrestling Entertainment arena, on Tuesday. He had wrestled his last match against Zack Ryder and has declared his retirement after the match, at East Rutherford in New Jersey. The news of his sudden retirement has disappointed his fans, who had expected to see him in more wrestling events in the coming year.

According to the reports, Tommy Dreamer had a backstage confrontation, in which he had vowed that he would never appear in ECW if he had to face defeat against Zack Ryder. The wrestler was highly confident of his skills and never anticipated that he would lose the match and have to bid farewell to the ECW stage. Zack Ryder, who is newer than Tommy Dreamer, displayed a unique wrestling skill and entertained the fans during the match. However, the official announcement of Tommy Dreamer’s retirement after his defeat, made fans upset.

Tommy Dreamer loved the WWE arena like his family and he was extremely emotional while making the farewell speech. As per the reports, the tough wrestler had shed few drops of tears, while thanking people for their support. He said that he would miss the ECW stage as well as the fans. It won’t be only Tommy Dreamer, who will miss the arena. His fans will miss him equally and are hopeful about his comeback. However, he has not indicated his future plans after quitting the ECW.
