Tom Cavanagh Dies At 28

Jan 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It was a complete shock for all those who knew Tom Cavanagh after the news of his death broke out. The immensely talented sportsman died at the tender age of 28 losing his life to the pressures of life. The former San Jose Sharks prospect was found dead on Thursday at a parking garage area of a mall. According to reports, it was at the Providence, R.I., mall’s parking lot that his dead body was found. The death of the 28 year old still remains a mystery.
Although his father Joseph Cavanagh in a statement to the media said that his son had been battling mental illness for years and at last failed to succumb to the psychological pressures. Reportedly, it were the multiple traumatic injuries which caused in him a blunt force impact as a result of which it took away his life. Tom Cavanagh was a key player for the San Jose Sharks from 2007 to 2009 and had emerged as one of the all time top scorers for the team. After leaving the Sharks, Tom Cavanagh later on continued to pursue his AHL career with the Manchester Monarchs and Springfield Falcons.
Doug Wilson, the San Jose Sharks general manager said that after the death of Tom Cavanagh was a shock for him and that the entire team was deeply saddened. Team mates at the San Jose Sharks remember him as someone who was a terrific team mate and was a major reason behind the success of the team. Doug Wilson on behalf of the Sharks was seen conveying condolences for the family of the deceased.
