tomNew England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady walked out of the field during Friday’s game at Washington against the Washington Redskins, after receiving an injury to his shoulder. According to reports, Brady has sustained the injury to his shoulder after Albert Haynesworth fell on him, with all his weight, during the match.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick has dismissed Brady’s injury as being a side baggage of the football game. Persistently inquired about the state of health that Brady is in presently, following the injury, the Patriot’s coach chose to dodge any direct answer. He even declined to comment whether Brady’s injury was going to be featured on the team’s official injury report if it was the regular season going on. He just commented, “Well, that’s hard to say. We’ll fill that report out when it comes.”

All Belichick was willing to divulge on the subject was, “I’m not comfortable getting in to public diagnosis of anything. Look, we played a physical game against a very physical team. I’m sure at the end of the game a lot of guys were sore and had bumps and bruises and all that. Everybody that played in the game would fall in to that category. That’s pretty normal after a game like that.”

He did say that in the second half of the match on Friday, Brady had expressed his desire to get on the field but Belichick had the choice to play his back-ups, Kevin O’Connell and Andrew Walter. After that Brady had retired to the locker room and chose not to address the press after the match.
