TJ Lavin’s Improvements In Health After Three Days Of Coma

Oct 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) MTV host and BMX biking star TJ Lavin went through a narrow escape after a severe injury on Thursday. The life threatening injury occurred when TJ Lavin was tying to attempt a risky dirt biker stunt in Las Vegas. The doctors said that he has been into a medically induced coma.
However, things have improved since Thursday, and TJ Lavin has shown many signs of improvements. His mother Barbara messaged ESPN on Sunday, that the MTV host has now attained stability. Although he is not conscious, he is back on sedation to rest and his brain swelling has minimized a lot. The biker, after a prolonged sleep since Thursday, got back his consciousness, and could actually show a thumbs up to the doctors.
TJ Lavin, the host of the famous MTV show, “Real World/Road Rules Challenge” suddenly went through a harsh accident after he slipped off his bike on Thursday night at the Dew Tour Championships, in his home town Las Vegas. The doctors reported that he has been suffering an orbital fracture on his eye along with a fracture right wrist. Something worse could have happened, but thank fully, TJ Lavin was wearing his helmet, which saved his head from the otherwise fatal accident.
After the accident, he was immediately rushed to University Medical Center trauma center in Las Vegas, where the doctors said that he is going through a medically induced coma and swelling in his brain. According to reports, TJ Lavin, 33, wanted to call it off for ever, after this stunt of his. The doctors said that a lot more has to be done to bring TJ Lavin’s condition back to absolute normalcy.
