Tim Tebow Baton Rogue, Oct 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tim Tebow suffered a concussion 10 days ago, in Florida’s last game, against Kentucky on Sept. 26, when his head slammed into a teammate’s knee after he took a solid hit to his chest. He was hospitalized for a night in a Lexington, Ky., hospital and wasn’t allowed for practice sessions till Tuesday.

Tebow returned to practice on a limited basis, on Tuesday. “He looked like Tim out there today,” coach Urban Meyer said. “Obviously practice is a lot different from what’s going to happen Saturday night. We’re still doing an evaluation.”

Tim was finally allowed to play for the Saturday match, and he simply set the field on fire with his great sportsmanship. He led the Gators to a good win. LSU ran into a recharged Gators squad and lost 13-3 on Saturday night.

“You know Tim. He said, ‘Let me play, let me play.’ It was non-stop,” Meyer said. “He did not get cleared until today.”

“That was two sledgehammers going at each other, ” Florida Coach Urban Meyer said. “That was good football. Defensively, one of the best efforts I’ve ever seen.”

“I can tell you we played a good defense today, ” LSU Coach Les Miles said. “I thought our effort was good, our team played a very talented football team today.”

“Turned out I was in four-down territory the whole time and I didn’t know it, ” Miles joked. “I’m surprised it was as close as it was, to be honest with you.”
