Dec. 06, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The loss of the Florida Gators to Alabama in the SEC Championship game on Saturday seems to have hit the team pretty hard, at least one of the members. Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow was captured on camera sitting on the sidelines after the match was over… and crying! He made no attempt to stem the flow even as the cameras zoomed onto his face. The tears continued to flow even at the interview he gave after the match. Meanwhile, videos of this unusual sporting event have been flooding the internet.

Tim Tebow’s tears after the match has raised different reactions in different quarters. On the one hand, there are the skeptics who say that the whole thing was utter nonsense and completely hilarious. There are some degrading pictures available on the internet that show a child crying voluminous tears, with “John 16:33″ painted on it’s face, no doubt an allusion to the player. Some people find the episode funny, hilarious and even outrageous. On the other hand, there are also people who feel that the display of the emotion was another proof of his love for the game and the team. Mostly, the reactions are negative though.

Despite the hubbub regarding this issue, tears from the members of the Florida Gators is not a brand new thing for the press, though. Only the last week, Urban Meyer, the coach of the team was seen crying at a press conference as he spoke about Michael Gilford, a member of the team who was killed in an accident.
