matserMar 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) If recent reports are to be believed, then troubled golfer Tiger Woods is gearing up to bring an end his self imposed exile in the U.S. Masters Golf Tournament 2010, which is scheduled to be held next month. This would mark the much anticipated comeback of the golfing great after tawdry tales of multiple extramarital affairs jeopardized his personal as well as professional lives since the car crash incident outside his Florida home.

In a statement that has been released by the World No.1 golfer on Tuesday, Tiger Woods has added that although he has been out of the golfing circle for quite some time now, the Augusta National is ‘where he needs to be’. At the same time, the ace golfer also emphasized that the Masters is a championship that he views with immense respect and after the time away from the game, he is all set to commence his season at Augusta.

While talking about the problems that he has been confronting for a while, the champion golfer reiterated that he is continuing his treatment despite being under therapy for the last two months. Moreover, the disgraced golfer also emphasized that although he was returning to his professional life, he stills needs to take care of the personal issues that he has been facing in the wake of the sex scandal.

Tiger Woods had taken an indefinite break from his golfing career after reports of his series of sexual escapades came to the limelight. The 14 major winner made his last appearance in a tournament at the Australian Master’s, which was held in the month of November last year, in which he had emerged victorious.
