Tiger Woods Takes $54.5 Million Mortgage For Jupiter Island Mansion

woodsSep 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After his much publicized divorce with his Swedish model wife Elin Nordegren, troubled golfer Tiger Woods has taken a mortgage of a whopping $54.5 million dollar for his sprawling mansion on Jupiter Island, in the state of Florida. A leading gossip website has reported that the World No. 1 golfer filed the legal papers for the major mortgage sometime earlier this week for his mansion in Florida.

According to the gossip website, in the court filings Tiger Woods describes himself as a ’single man’ which does not comes as much of a surprise given the fact that the documents were filed in the court on August 27th, five days after he and his wife Elin Nordegren officially divorced from each other in the Panama City courthouse. In the meanwhile, the court documents that have been filed divulges that the luxurious mansion in Jupiter Island comprises of a tennis court, oxygen therapy room, a number of swimming pools as well as a fitness center while it has also been mentioned that the ace golfer intends to pay off his loan by January 15, 2016. It has been reported that the construction work on the mansion is yet to be over and it is likely to finish by the spring of next year.

The exclusive Jupiter Island is home to some of the wealthiest people all across the country which includes few well-known celebrities such as Celine Dion, Burt Reynolds, Greg Norman as well as Nick Price, among others. The news that Tiger Woods took out a $54.5 million mortgage comes on the heels of rumors that the pro golfer was busy with estate shopping in New York City.
