Jan 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Butch Harmon, former Tiger Woods coach believes that the trouble golfer should face the world by arranging a press conference rather than shying away from the limelight. The much acclaimed coach who had been associated with the World No.1 golfer for a period of ten years has emphasized that Tiger Woods has to take the risk of being humiliated publicly and give a thorough explanation of the problems that he has been facing since it came to light that he was involved in multiple extramarital affairs.
Moreover, Butch Harmon also goes on to say that the champion golfer cannot expect to restore his reputation and image if he continues to remain elusive. The former coach also added that Tiger Woods has to stand in front of the world, face humiliation and at the same time answer all the embarrassing questions, which would go a long way in upgrading his tainted image. Butch Harmon emphasized that if the ace gofer is able to take this stand, then the common people would appreciate the initiative which would enable the disgraced golfer to get along with his life. Moreover, the ex-coach also implied that chances are high that the champion sportsman would participate in the Ryder Cup which is scheduled to be held in October.
Tiger Woods has not divulged his side of the story after revealing in his official website that he was indeed involved in a number of ‘transgressions’ although he directly did not confess to any of the affairs. However, the world renowned golfer declared indefinite break from his career in order to deal with the troubles plaguing his life right now.
