tiherJan 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) For a change, disgraced golfer Tiger Woods is hitting headlines for the right reasons. If certain reports are to be believed, then the champion golfer has pledged his support for the victims of the deadly earthquake which rocked the Caribbean island of Haiti earlier this week. Reports claim that Tiger Woods is likely to donate 1.8million to provide assistance to the relief operations that are being undertaken in the devastated island to rehabilitate the victims of the disaster.

At the same time, the defamed golfer is also reportedly taking the initiative to arrange for a cargo plane which is equipped with a mobile hospital to aid the relief work at the island. Hip hop mogul Russell Simmons has stated to a newspaper that he has been in discussion with the World No.1 golfer, who intends to contribute to the rehabilitation measures that are being taken at the island to fulfill the immediate needs of the victims. It has been expressed that Russell Simmons and rapper Wyclef Jean’s relief organization Yele has urged the ace golfer to give his support for the relief operations at the earthquake hit island.

However, the representatives of the champion golfer have not validated whether Tiger Woods has actually decided to contribute to the rehabilitation process in Haiti. Meanwhile, the billionaire sportsperson has been shying away from the limelight and has not been seen in public since reports emerged claiming that Tiger Woods was involved in multiple extramarital affairs. Moreover, no information is available regarding the present whereabouts of the pro golfer, who decided to take an indefinite break from his golfing career to focus on the personal issues confronting him.
