According to sources, the estranged husband of Elin Nordegren checked into the Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services, for its sex-rehab program.

The Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services clinic is considered one of the top in the nation for sexual addiction, is directed by Dr. Patrick Carnes, who has pioneered treatment for sexually compulsive behavior. So it seems like for a change, the troubled golfer is in the right place, at the right time and in the right hands too. His wife Elin Nordegren had asked him to undergo therapy for his sex-addiction, and now with this step, she sure ought to be happy.

According to the Web site for the famous facility, their patients usually spend about six weeks in treatment. Sex addicts receive a variety of treatments, including group therapy, cognitive behavior therapy and something called “shame reduction.”
