Tiger Woods comeback deadline tonight

New York, Feb 12(ANI): American golfer Tiger Woods must declare to the PGA Tour today that he will return to action at next week’s WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship or miss the deadline, and face another few weeks in the wilderness.
According to reports, Woods must get at least one tournament under his belt soon if he hopes to play at the Masters, which begins at Augusta on April 8.
Certain media reports had earlier suggested that the World No. 1 is set to stun the world by returning to the Dove Mountain course where he made his comeback from knee surgery last year.
The 9.54 million dollar event was won by Melbourne’s Geoff Ogilvy last year and is one of the most prestigious titles outside the major championships, The Mirror reports.
It is also a favourite event for Woods, who has won it in 2003, 2004 and 2008. (ANI)
