tiger woods with elin Florida, Dec 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The odds are really not favorable for the ace golfer at all. He seems to be controversy’s favorite child as some scandal or the other seems to dog him, at every turn and twist of life. He was treated by a Canadian based doctor Tony Galea who used another controversial technique to treat him, which is the ‘blood-spinning’ method. Now it has come to light that the Canadian doctor had no legal medical license to practice in the US at all.

Tony Galea’s assistant Mary Anne Catalano was recently stopped on the US-Canada border and in her possession, banned drugs were found, which led to a host of doping allegations on Tiger Woods as well. Then to the Federal Investigators, she said that her boss, the Canadian doctor Tony Galea had no legal medical license to practice in the US.

Tony Galea had treated the golfer earlier this year with his platelet-rich plasma injection therapy, also known as “blood spinning.” Now he is under the scanner for the possession of illegal drugs including human growth hormone (HGH) and Actovegin - a drug extracted from calf’s blood that has been banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency.

The Canadian authorities searched his Toronto clinic, and found the banned drugs in his clinic. It is not known whether the mistress-rich Tiger Woods received the banned drugs or not during the course of his treatment with the Canadian doctor.
