London, December 15: Just before the exposure of Tiger Woods’ sex scandal, he had said his family is the number one priority in his life.
The golfer had done an interview for Sky TV in New Zealand last month, days before reports of his extra-marital affairs started coming.
Journalist Murray Deaker had asked: “Family first and golf second. Always be like that?”
Woods had answered: “Always.”
The interview had taken place in Melbourne, during Australian Masters tournament in November.
Meanwhile, Woods has decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf in a bid to save his marriage with wife Elin.
Also, he has been apologetic about his actions.
“I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children,” Sky News quoted him as writing on his website.
He added: “I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.” (ANI)
