Tiger Woods Florida, Dec 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ace golfer Tiger Woods finally broke his silence in the form of a public statement in which he apologized for his transgressions. Soon the word transgressions became the most searched term on Google. Transgressions means any unlawful thing or violation, sin. So in veiled terms he did admit to his misdeeds. In very guarded words he admits to the affairs and says that he has let his family down, and that he hasn’t been true to his values and the behavior that his family deserves.

Along with a very public apology he also requests for privacy as he says that it is a family matter and should be dealt in such a matter, and he doesn’t want his dirty linen to be washed in public at all. Tiger says that, “But for me, the virtue of privacy is one that must be protected in matters that are intimate and within one’s own family. Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn’t have to mean public confessions.”

The whole whirlwind in Tiger Woods life started when he had a nasty accident at home with his SUV and then when National Enquirer broke the story of his affair with Rachel Uchitel, but she denied it. Then Jamiee Grubbs and Kalika Moquin came forward and said that they had affairs with the golfer.

He doesn’t name any of his apparent mistresses in the statement and also doesn’t go into any of the details, but it certainly feels that he is tired of the media speculation over his love life and his personal life.

He also addresses the bad light in which his wife Elin is being show post his accident. Media speculators have been saying that his wife was responsible for the accident but Tiger says that she acted very responsibly and graciously.
