tiger8 Mar 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tiger Woods has been out of the game for the last four months, following the car crash which led to revelations of the many affairs which he had been a part of. He announced on Tuesday that he plans to return; to play at “The Masters” in Augusta Georgia.

Tiger has not competed in a golf game since November 15, 2009. He won the Australian Masters at that time, which was his 82nd worldwide victory. It was almost two weeks after this win that he wrecked his car by hitting a tree outside his home in Florida. This began the downward spiral of truth revealed as the many sordid affairs Tiger had behind his wife, Elin’s back came to light.

Although Elin has recently returned to the family home, the return to golf does not necessarily mean the famous golfer is off the hook. “I have undergone almost two months of inpatient therapy and I am continuing my treatment,” he said. “Although I’m returning to competition, I still have a lot of work to do in my personal life.”

He also told reporters, “The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect, after a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta.”
