Aug 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren were both present on Monday in a Bay County Circuit Court which is located in Panama City, Florida as the official end of their marriage was finally done. The attorneys for both Tiger and Elin issued a statement to the effect that the divorce was final, and they are no longer married.
It has been nine months since the fateful SUV crash which brought Tiger and Elin’s fairytale life crashing down around them. It was soon discovered that the world’s most famous golfer had been cheating on his wife, not once, not twice, but numerous times with very questionable women, and the world watched on in shock.
They watched as Tiger backtracked and explained, and they watched as Tiger claimed a sexual addiction. The world looked on as Elin tried to forgive Tiger in an effort to save her family, and keep a secure home together for her children. The world was sickened as woman after woman came forward for their moment of fame as they confessed to being yet another “Tiger Mistress”. And they watched as the final straw, Tiger made a commercial(embedded below) using his dead father’s voice to seemingly make light of the situation, and try an boost his career. Elin left for good soon after.
The couple issued a joint statement which read, “We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.”
“Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being. The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern.”
The only details of the divorce agreement which were disclosed thus far is that they will share custody of those two children ages 3 and 1.
