London, Sep.28 (ANI): Theo Walcott is so desperate to play that he has approached Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to play him against Olympiakos tomorrow night at the Emirates.
The Arsenal and England whizkid, 20, has yet to play because of a lower back injury, reports The Sun.
Gunners boss Wenger resisted temptation to field Walcott in Saturday’s 1-0 win at Fulham but admits it is getting hard to hold him back.
Wenger said: “He has a chance to be in the squad but not to be starting. He has played only 45 minutes since June.” (ANI)
