Nov 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The game between the Saints and the Falcons saw the Saints winning. More than the game, the limelight has now shifted upon the mouthpieces that were used by The Saints, with people raising questions such as, “Was the Mouthpiece in someway helpful for the Saints win?” The mouthpiece was none other than PPM or the Pure Power Mouth guard, which has been in the news for quite some time now. Reportedly the mouthpiece helped the Saints to improve their flexibility. According to the producers of the PPM, ‘Makkar’, the flexibility as provided by PPM is “game changing”.
The PPM is basically a sports appliance which has been custom designed by the producers to fit each individual players needs. It has been designed and invented by Dr. Anil Makkar, who is a neuromuscular dentist. According to sources, the appliance “naturally aligns the athlete’s jaw and because of this, the athlete has enhanced explosive power, balance, range of motion, flexibility, endurance and oxygen flow during training and competition, allowing them to maximize their performance.”
Along with all these, the producers say that the appliance have other uses which have been tested out. They say that they had provided funding to a US college having a good reputation, who then went ahead with a research to compare the results between PPM and other mouthguards. The producers have also said that they will be releasing the results in due time, and that they can now only release the “summary of the findings”. According to this summary, the students saw that they had higher vertical jumps and that, the “peak power on the WAnT was higher too”. The performance was much better for “the average mean power for WAnT + intervals”.

What a farce, these guards have been used for decades. At $2k a pop why would you. There is another produce available already used in the NFL for two decades. This one also gives you protection from concussion and may be covered by your insurance. Concussion is paramout and at about $400 why not.
