Mar 18 (Pen Men at Work): It has been exposed that Texas Rangers’ Ron Washington has tested positive for a debarred material during the team’s previous season.
This information has not only arrived as an absolute bolt from the blue to Washington’s team, but, in all probability, to the fans also. Before Washington’s chance drug examination back in 2009, there was no indication at all that connected the Texas Rangers’ manager, Ron Washington, to the utilization of cocaine. Since then, Washington has made an apology and offered to leave his job. Reportedly, Washington presented his resignation last July. The Rangers’ President Nolan Ryan then rebuffed Washington’s resignation proposal. Cocaine therapy and a tight testing schedule were provided to him instead
In his apology, Washington has proclaimed that he had committed a serious error. He went on to elucidate how he had supplied dishonor to his family and wounded scores of people as well as himself.
Washington has fervently stated that he is wholly committed to the elimination of his drug habit.
Washington has accepted that he had perpetrated a mammoth blunder. He has remarked that it almost resulted in him losing everything that he had exerted himself for all of his life. He declared that he will not utter lame excuses because there are no excuses in his pocket.
Washington has been made to undergo amplified testing since he was unsuccessful. He has remarked that he has passed every ensuing examination. He articulated that he has finished the MLB drug healing program.
The administration has a dissimilar set of drug-testing regulations than the ones for players on 40-man rosters that were discussed and fructified by Major League Baseball (MLB) and the players’ union.
For the human resources of the management, who are analyzed as positive for cocaine and other recreational drugs, healing is mandatory and pronouncements on obedience are created by the team and MLB on a case by case basis.
