London, Feb 4(ANI): England skipper John Terry will not offer his resignation before he meets manager Fabio Capello on Friday, Terry’s spokesman said.

Terry’s spokesman Phil Hall insists the Chelsea defender, who has been accused of cheating on his wife Toni with England team-mate Wayne Bridge’s ex girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel, will do nothing dramatic before discussing the matter with Capello.

Capello, who is recovering from a knee operation, is planning to return to England and is expected to meet Terry on Friday.

“John Terry is keeping his own counsel until he speaks to England manager Fabio Capello and then Capello will decide what announcement will be made,” The Telegraph quoted Hall, as saying.

The Football Association announced earlier this week that Capello alone will make the decision on whether Terry should remain as England captain, but it is believed that senior officials have already made the decision to replace him.

Capello has made it clear to his advisers, the FA and to Terry’s camp that he will not rush into any decision and wants to gather all the facts before he chooses what to do.

Details of Terry’s affair with Vanessa Perroncel, the former girlfriend of his England teammate Wayne Bridge, emerged at the weekend after a court injunction banning it from being reported was lifted.

Meanwhile, his 28-year-old wife Toni Poole, has reportedly been left “humiliated” by the revelations and flew out to Dubai on January 30 with the couple’s children. (ANI)
