Tennessee Titans Parting Ways With Quarterback Vince Young

vinNashville, Jan 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Star quarterback Vince Young’s association with the Tennessee Titans has reached its final stage as the team has announced that the player would not be part of the next roster. The announcement was made on Wednesday by Bud Adams, the owner of Titans, who revealed that Vince Young would be released from the position of quarterback of the team. Although the team has taken the decision that the 27-year-old player would not be associated with the team anymore, it has been confirmed that the coaching staff of Titans is still being evaluated.

A statement that was issued by Bud Adams read that currently the team has to decide on two things, ‘the direction of the staff and the future at the quarterback position.’ The Titans owner also went on to add that the two issues would be dealt in a separate manner by the team officials. At the same time, Bud Adams also revealed that the team’s general manager Mike Reinfeldt is now in the look-out for the next quarterback of the Titans while adding that Vince Young’s agent has been informed that the player would not be in the team’s roster for the next season.

However, the Tennessee Titans’ owner had words of appreciation for the star quarterback and he expressed gratitude to the Vince Young for all the contributions that he had made to the club during his association with it. Although fans of the player were left rather disappointed by the Titans’ decision to release him, the player took the decision in his stride and thanked the team officials as well as his teammates.
